Getting to your seat

Arrive early. Seriously.

FIFA security protocols are stricter than 49ers games. Plan to be through the gates 2+ hours before kickoff. Entry is via a clear-bag policy; lines are fastest at Gate F (North) and Gate A (South).

Bring

Your match-day kit.

  • Clear bag (12″ x 6″ x 12″ or smaller)
  • Sunscreen — afternoon games catch full sun on the south side
  • A light layer for evening cool-down (Bay Area microclimate)
  • Phone charger + portable battery
  • Cash + card (stadium is cashless-friendly but backup helps)
  • Printed or digital ticket via FIFA app

Leave at home

Gate stoppers.

  • Large bags, backpacks, hard-sided coolers
  • Outside food and drinks (sealed water OK up to 16 oz)
  • Umbrellas (ponchos are allowed)
  • Folding chairs, selfie sticks over 12″
  • Drones and professional camera lenses > 6″
  • Noise-makers, laser pointers, flares

Food & drink

$15–$20 meals, $12–$15 beers.

Standard stadium pricing. Bourbon Pub (Section 135) pours local Bay Area drafts. Michael Mina’s Tailgate has elevated options. Vegetarian and halal carts at multiple concourses.

Weather

You WILL fry.

Levi’s sits at the south tip of the Bay where SF’s fog doesn’t reach. June: 70–85°F by kickoff. July: 75–90°F. Noon matches bake the south-facing seats. Sunscreen, hat, water bottle — not optional. The upper decks catch evening wind off the bay, so layers still matter for night games.

Accessibility

ADA-ready throughout.

Wheelchair-accessible seating on every level. Assistance carts meet you at gates. Service animals permitted. Sensory-inclusive room on the 100-level.

Heads up — set expectations

The area around the stadium is dead. Plan your fun elsewhere.

Levi’s is surrounded by corporate office parks — Intel HQ, Nvidia HQ, and a thousand tech campuses. There are no bars, no restaurants, no match-day buzz in the immediate walking radius. This is very different from, say, an Oracle Park Giants game where the neighborhood is the experience.

For pre/post-match energy, head to Santana Row (15 min rideshare — restaurants, bars, outdoor plaza) or downtown San José (20 min, bigger bar scene). Or plan your stay somewhere with actual life and accept the transit to the stadium on match days.
